Welcome to Hathersage Parish Church

In response to reaching the terrible milestone of 100,000 deaths from COVID-19, the Archbishops invite all to call on God in Prayer. Starting on 1 February we invite you to set aside time every evening to pray, particularly at 6pm each day. More than ever, this is a time when we need to love each other. Prayer is an expression of love.

From our Priest-in-Charge, Paul Moore:

For the greater safety of all in this increasingly serious Covid lockdown situation our three PCCs have passed resolutions seeking the Bishop’s permission to suspend all public worship in our church buildings while our area remains in lockdown. The PCCs will review this decision regularly, and re-open our buildings when it is safe to do so.

I hope you will be able to join us for our Morning Worship on Zoom which will take place at 10.30am this Sunday. Email hathersageparishchurch@gmail for a link.

The service order for the service will also be circulated by email beforehand. Let us know if you wish to be added to the distribution list.  The service will be uploaded to our Facebook page after the service https://www.facebook.com/hathersageparishchurch Let us pray that whether we use the service order for our own time of worship at home, or join together on Zoom, we will all feel part of God's church in the fellowship of his Holy Spirit.

You are also welcome to join me for Morning Prayer at 9 am and Evening Prayer at 5 pm from Monday to Thursday each week using the same Zoom link, check Services page.

If you would like to make a donation to our 'virtual' collection plate, please click here to pay by card. Should you be a taxpayer and able to complete the Gift Aid details, we are then able to claim an additional 25% from HMRC.
