Rev Paul Moore has been licensed and installed as priest in charge of Hathersage, Grindleford and Bamford churches. He and wife Lucy have moved into the vicarage and are starting to meet people. Say hello if you see him.
Paul has a passion for mission and comes to us with a wealth of experience in developing and growing churches through reaching out to families, youth and older people.
Together with Lucy, who started the first Messy Church and now works full time as Team Leader of the international Messy Church movement, they have seen significant growth in the number of children and adults who were previously not connected with any church. The ultimate aim is to nurture and lead people into becoming lifelong followers of Jesus.
Paul and Lucy have two grown-up children, Arthur and Judith, and a small dog called Minnie.
